We are aiming to complete our wooden sketch model this week and have constructed the support beams and downing. After experimenting with card I could see how the railings and bumpers around the base would be held from angled supports. Angel found a way to cut the top railing out of a thin sheet of wood through drilling the centre out of the oval shape and sanding this back to 10mm from the edge using the drennel. I repeated this process for the lower two railings but double sided them together so I could make both at the same time. These then slot over the beam and down the base into position, with a 5mm gap around the lower two rails. Meanwhile, Paul continued working on the Rhino drawings.
